I managed to fabricate a rough proto type of the mixture control cable. I like how it works but I think I might try and make one that angles in the vertical a bit. This will of course require a heat shield on the exhaust. There really is no other solution; my idea from last week will not work. I have the exhaust hangers where they need to be and they will be in the way with my previous idea. I plan to look at orienting the fuel control in a different direction to see if there might be a better solution that way.
The bracket is made up from scraps and I would need thicker stock to make the final version.
There is a turn down someone sells this would make the fuel control horizontal rather than vertical, but this would require reworking all of the fuel lines as well and the cables and then the filter air box I have would not work.. I hate it when I run into these puzzles that stall my progress.
