Brief Description:  Left wire bundle Pitot AOA line route

Well as it always seems to be with the non-metal work on this plane, I spent hours in the shop with nothing much to show for it. Today I redid the anchors for the wire bundle running under the left console. I could not get it to keep from rubbing on the rear rudder pedal idler arm. I came up with a vertical piece that will hold the wire bundle away from the idler arm. It is ā€œLā€ shaped with one side with a 1

The next thing I looked at was a route for the AOA and Pitot lines. There is a lot going on under the left console but this seems to be the best place to run these lines. My plan is to run a continuous line (SafeAir1 Nylon line) from the Pitot tube into the fuselage and then through one of pre-cut holes in the spar area to get the line forward of the spar. Once on the forward side the line will go outboard and through one of the holes in the gear mount. Here I plan to run 3/16 aluminum line under the left console then up the left F804 brace to just above the height of the bottom of the panel, about the level of the forward baggage floor. From here I will run the SafeAir1 nylon line to the instruments. It is really crowded under the left console so I am running aluminum line there because I can ensure that it does not interfere or rub on anything. Of course I am at a standstill on this since I now need fitting and line that I do not have on hand!
