Brief Description:  Light in the rear baggage area

More progress on the electrical system today, I completed the first circuit which is the rear baggage area light. I started by rerouting the wires for the left rear LED strip, I was going to run it under the floor but then while working on the wires for the baggage light I realized I could run the left LED light aft then behind the upper part of the rear baggage bulkhead. From there it goes forward under the arm rest where it will splice up with the right side LED light.

I took a short section or the corrugated tube used as conduit in the wing and made a conduit through the right 804 bulkheads. I used and existing hole in the forward 804 and made my own hole in the aft 804 just below the arm rest. I did not want to make the holes larger so I slit the tube so it would fit the hole and then used some RTV to secure the tube in place.

I labeled the L/R LED wires and then but some snake skin on for protection. The wire runs though an existing gap in the corner. I could not resist the urge to complete the first circuit so I terminated the wires to the baggage light switch and hooked up the battery and presto it worked as advertised. Kind of cool having a switch that turns something on!!
