Brief Description: Part II - Rear cockpit lighting
Before I can do the control column I need to install the rear floors and I have to get the wire runs done under the floor for the rear cockpit lighting. I am using blue LED strips. I want to use aviation grade wire so I first tried to solder a new connector onto the LED strip but this was less than perfect, so for the other strip I just a splice aviation wire to the existing wires so only about 2” will be non aviation wire.
I added a strip of white LEDs to the rear baggage area with a switch just behind the back seat bulkhead. I figure on the dark early mornings when packing the airplane for a trip having some built in lighting will be handy.
