Brief Description:  Installed firewall pass thru

I moved onto the electrical system again. Today I opened up the hole in the firewall for the stainless steel firewall pass through offered by SafeAir. Using a step drill to open up stainless steel to 1 1/8” takes some time and patients but it turned out well. The after the wires are installed they are wrapped and clamped down with fire sleeve (the orange stuff).

The last thing I did was sort through the Engine Monitor Harness for the Dynon 180. There is a wire guide in the manual but I wanted to mark the wires themselves and then determine which ones will run forward of the firewall. I am trying to get an idea how big of a bundle I will have. The pass through I installed will take the pig power wires but the firewall came with a pre-punched hole in the sides which I think I will use for the other wires. I put a hole on the opposite side that matches the right when I thought I was going to use the rear mounted battery. My thought is I can slit the wires based on what side of the engine they will be attached.
