Brief Description:  Cowl Baffling

Yes...I am still here! I haven't quit!Well...it has been a while since I have updated the log. I have been working on and off here lately; just haven't dedicated any time to taking pictures.I have spent a good amount of time (30+ hours) on the cowl baffling getting it to this stage. I know most would not have invested this much time on it, but I have invested a great deal on money on the engine, and while it will mostly be unseen - I cannot accept anything less than perfection for keeping this animal cool.I may regret this later, but I took great care in ensuring the baffling was neatly trimmed, deburred, primed and painted with high temp engine paint. I also have used a tip from a builder featured in the RVator (Dann Parks). He slotted the lower edge of the seal to cause the top to naturally form a curve that would contact the upper cowl.
