Brief Description:  Fuselage interior Painting

Setup the paint booth outside and rolled in the fuselage. After sealing the tail section up, I masked the interior for those areas not receiving paint. This was my first attempt at shooting the Ranthane (polyurethane) with the Citation turbine/ Accuspray gun. I've never painted urethane before, so I made of couple of practice runs on some cardboard. I was able to get the majority of the interior painted before I ran out of paint and time for the day. I had a couple of runs, so when everything has hardened up I am going to sand them with 320 and shoot again. I went to great lengths to prevent dust, however a few spots appeared after I got the paint on the surface. I'll correct those as well. All in all not too bad for my first attempt; I am really pleased with the semi-finished product. Still more to do including the interior panels and rear seats. Will start again early tomorrow!
