Time to tackle the wheel pants. The openings of the main gear pants was ok, as opposed to the nose gear pant which required a lot of trimming. I've read reports that the fiberglass may crack over time at the axle attach screw. As others have suggested, I epoxied a circular .032 disc with a centered hole for the screw to reinforce that area. Someone else had a good idea to add an access hole to make it easier to check tire pressure, so I did that too. The chrome sink faucet plug (1.5") came from Ace Hardware. I also got a chance to use my cheap Harbor Freight hole saw kit, worked like a champ.P.S. Later I found out I could have saved a few bucks by just getting the hole plug from Wicks for $0.57 versus a couple bucks at Ace.
