The nose gear pant needed a lot of trimming to make the opening large enough for the gear. I used a saber saw with a fine tooth metal cutting blade. I hate this fiberglass stuff -- I'm still itching from it. Once the opening is made larger, the attached brackets will just fit within the opening without cracking the pant. A 2" hole saw was used for the top hole for the strut. The bracket needed to be rebent, as the sides of the pants are not parallel to the nose strut, and they needed to be a lot shallower too.
