I attached the TED transponder antenna just forward of the spar, about 6 inches in from the left side. Made a tray for the encoder and added nutplates so I could remove it if needed. Riveted the encoder to the underside of the glare shield. I also strung and crimped the RG58 cable for the ELT in the turtledeck.
