The Frame was masked in a similar way to the canopy. All the kit was laid out and prepared for a stressed out Sikaflex session. It was an anticlimax. Sikaflex cleaner 205 was used first, Sikaflex 206 primer was used on the Frame and 209 D (note the ‘D’ ) primer on the plexiglass. All chemicals were secured from Mailspeed Marine; their technical guys were most helpful. The aim is not to have a canopy depart in flight and be embarrassed.
