Brief Description:  Landing Gear Box Assembly Riveting

First the Landing Gear Box was assembled and riveted to the floor. Using English Pin Clamps to hold the structure very tight the assembly began. Van's instructions called for the front of the L.G. Box not to be riveted at this time. Doing so later would be considerably more difficult and there seemed on reading further instruction chapters no reasoning; so the front was riveted as well. This resulted in the Bottom Skin F-850 being more challenging to rivet; an additional pop rivets were needed on the crossmember. The main gear bolt was also inserted in its hole to ensure the structure was correctly set up. Clecos don't quite make parts fit perfectly; often rivets were placed in some hole and cleco in others to ensure a perfect fit.
