What would look like a straight forward bolt-it-up assembly on paper is a bit more challenging in real life. Fortunately Bruce dropped by the hangar to provide some extra hands and an experienced brain. The parts were all there, the factory drilled holes were perfect and the instructions are good but there are just a lot of things to fit together at one time to make it challenging. I can't imagine doing this with the frame inside the hull. A concern is that on the starboard side the acuator is rubbing on the frontside bulkhead strap, it doesn't have the clearance that the port side has. Where the difference arises is not apparent yet so I will go back on this later. Two points for other builders: one - to fit this equipment in per step 4 you are going to have to back off bolts securing the Bulkhead Pylon Gusset that you were previously instructed to tighten up and torque; two - to attach the actuator bottoms to the actuator clevis (plural?) in step 5 you will have to unbolt the tops of the bulkhead straps you just installed in step 2 and swing the straps out of the way. At least that was my experience, tell me if you think differently. 24 May 2015 update: the actuators are upside down!!!
