The paint on these parts wasnt the best, so I tooke the parts to a friend who has a media blasting cabinet, stripped the paint, andd repainted with POR-15, which I swear by. No chance of rust with this stuff, and it shouldnt wear off anytime soon. The plasic or resin or whatever bearings are a bit tight, but I separated them with washers to help keep the friction to a reasonable level, plus I expect they will loosen up with use.
The main control stick assembly and installation lacked drama. Finally!
