Brief Description:  Landing Gear Bungee

The channel in which the front gear bungee cord (yes, this is all that is used to support the weight of the entire front of the aircraft) is a little tight. So much so that I was concerned that as the front wheel is turned and is compressed under load, that the bungee would wear over time. in particular, the rivets attaching the angle supporrts were intruding in the bungee space. First attempt to fix included cutting a bit of scrap to cover up alll the sharp bits. Ultimately didnt like that fix. Instead , dissasembled and reversed the rivets on the angular support so the nice smoothe head was towards the bubngee, not the pulled side of the rivet which was too close for comfort to the bungee. This is goiod but I decided that the best thing would be to tie up the bungee as installed to keep it as close to the gear shaft as possible. Nopw there is plenty of room (and by plenty, I mean it isnt touching anything in any configuration).
