I started out this evening by taking the aft skin off the airplane. I then deburred all the holes and proceeded to dimple them. Most of them I could reach using the pneumatic squeezer but the middle ones for the bulkheads I had to use the C frame. After I dimpled the skin I dimpled all the other parts that attach to it.
Then I moved on to making the storage for the tie downs. I cut some 1 inch by 3/8 aluminum stock into two 1.5 inch lengths to make two blocks. Then I used the drill press to drill 5/16 holes in the center of each block. I then tapped the holes 3/8-16. I then used the holes in the bulkhead gussets to match drill #40 holes in the blocks and then enlarged the holes to #30.
