I finally finished the work on the avionics shelf. I drilled mounting holes for the transponder and manifold pressure boxes and riveted on nutplates for those. I also drilled and riveted the mounting tray for the audio panel using AN470AD4-5 rivets. The rest of the time was spent disassembling the instrument panel, drilling out the rivets for the glove box and all the nut plates for the avionics and then cutting the bottom flange off the panel so that I can use it as a template to lay out what I hope is the final version of the panel.
