I worked on building the bracket for the NAV and COM radios to mount on my avionics shelf today. I used .032 aluminum sheet and fabricated three trays, one for each radio. I bent them up on the sides so that I could rivet them together. Then I drilled holes to rivet straps on, also made from .032 aluminum. Finally, I drilled the mounting holes in each tray for the radios.
