I spent today installing all the instruments, circuit breakers, switches and other things that go in the instrument panel. It was fun to see it go together but very frustrating to realize as I put the circuit breakers in that the rows are too close together and I'm going to have to re-cut the panel for the 4th time. I've decided that I'm going to move the switches and lower row of circuit breakers down 3/16" and move the outer sets of three switches out 1/4 inch. This should give me room for buss bars on the top and bottom of the circuit breaker rows.
The other thing I did was drill holes for screws and install the fresh air vent. I decided to go with AN515-8R8 screws with AN365-832A nyloc nuts to hold the fresh air vent to the instrument panel. Part numbers for the screws for the avionics are below.
