Brief Description: Installing Landing Light Left Wing
Marked the Three Rivets not to install on the W-1204D-L Wing Tip Close-Out. Enlarged the #30 hole on the W-1204D-L to 3/8 for a snap bushing and deburred the large hole.
Created handles on the W-00014 by wrapping masking tape around and securing to itself as shown in figure 1 page 40iS/U-03. Inserted the W-00014 into the left landing light opening and pulled it taught with the masking tape handles.
Match drilled 1/8 using a plexi bit the eight holes in the W-1203-R-1 Surrounding the landing light cutout into the W-00014 per figure 1 same page. Using a dry erase marker, marked the inboard and outboard edges of the landing light cutout onto the W-00014. Removed the W-00014 and the masking tape.
Final-Drilled 9/64 using a plexi bit the 8 holes match drilled 1/8 above.
Measured and marked the W-00014 to dimensions per figure 1 same page and trimmed and sanded.
Final Drilled #27, deburred, and dimpled the eight holes in the W-1203-R-1 surrounding the landing light cutout for the head of a #6 screw.
Machine Countersunk the screw holes in the W-00014 for the corresponding dimples.
