Brief Description: Tail Cone Skin Riveting and Top Skin Prep
Put masking tape over all of the holes within 7 inches of the forward edge of each tailcone skin to prevent accidental riveting.
Riveted all of the open holes of the F-1280-L & -R Left and Right Side Skins. Included the common holes in the F-1279-L & -R Upper Left and Upper Right Skins capturing the F-1211C Hinge Bracket when riveting the aft end of each left and right side skin.
Final-Drilled #19 the screw holes of the F-12106 Fwd Skin Rib per call-outs in Figure 1 page 10iS/U-11.
Dimpled #8 the screw holes of the F-12106 Fwd Skin Rib per same call-out.
Dimpled 3/32 the nutplate attach holes of the F-12106 Fwd Skin Rib per same call-out.
Dimpled 3/32 the nutplate attach holes of the eight nutplates K1100-08
Riveted the dimpled nutplates K1100-08 (8) to the F-12106 Fwd Skin Rib using AN426AD3-3.5
Guided the F-1210B Plate through the slot in the F-1278 Top Skin and cleco'ed the top skin to the F-1210 Frame.
Match Drilled #30 the two outboard-most holes in the F-1210C Angle using the Top Skin as a guide. Confirmed no deformations in the top skin caused by the F-1210C Angle at the outboard-most holes per the call out Figure 2 page 10iS/U-11. Removed the top skin and deburred F-1210C Angle.
