Brief Description: Finished canopy rear hoop, started side rails
Finished the canopy rear hoops. The instructions meant simply the hoops ("ribs") should lay flat after bending the flanges. They didn't and fluting didn't help. Bending the inner flange outward helped some, but finally just clamping each hoop and twisting out the unwanted twist worked. Made splice plate C-704 and match-drilled to one hoop per instructions.
Started the canopy side rails WD-725L/R. Tested fit to fuselage, fairly close but needed a little more bend to match fuselage curve.
Also drilled remaining holes in forward canopy frame/matching skin. Deburred and clecoed again.
