Bead-blasted both steps. The bare metal right step needed to be cleaned, and the primed left step had been mistreated in the process of trimming and bending the lower aft corner.
After bead-blasting, I cleaned, dried, primed and painted the right step. The left step I mixed some structural flox with structural epoxy to fill the gouge I made on the step during the trimming process. Not that the structural epoxy will strengthen it, but will will be tough when exposed to the elements. Tomorrow will sand smooth, clean again, prime, and paint.
