Went to the airport where the wings are stored and cut off the wing strobe wires a few inches past the wing roots. On examination at home, seems I used unshielded 3-conductor wire. Why, I don't recall now. Maybe the bundle is twisted? I'll try to find the purchase. Anyway I have shielded 3c wire left over from running the tail strobe so I'll use that for the segment from the strobe power supply to the wing roots within the fuselage.
