Today I got HS-00005 and HS-00006 all drilled out. This is a somewhat complex procedure. It helps to run through the instructions several times befor jumping in. Once the root ribs were done, the rest of the stab gets drilled out to #40. For some reason, the forward spar is not pre-punched between the root and HS-708, and the spar is drilled using the skin holes for guidance. Time to start on the right stab.
Several build logs recommend doing both the left and right at the same time. The issue is moot for me, as I don't have enough clecos to do both. After being on a roll, I had a set back. The instructions have you match drill the rear flange of HS-00006 to the spar using holes that are drilled in the flange earlier. Unfortunately, the last sentence of the previous step says to remove HS-00005. I missed it, and ended up drilling through HS-5 out of position, thus the holes are too close to the edge of the part. $10.50 plus shipping.
