Got a lot done today. Assembled both horizontal stabilizers, and skinned the left one. The skins are thick, and hard to attach. I ended up starting at the outer tip at HS-706, working to the root. I learned from the vertical stab to alternate each side as you go (not every cleco, but keep both sides even). Once the skin is on you fit in ribs HS-00005 an HS-00006 at the root. They are not pre-punched, and must be match-drilled in place. The ribs have to be match-drilled to the forward spar, but my drill can't get perpendicular. I have a 12" bit on the way that I can flex to make a perpendicular hole.
