Drilled glass to 40 Then the hoops to 40 . Drilled the hoops to 1/4 but left the bottom row at 40 so I could reinstall the glass using the top capture strip and the bottom with clecos. Placed the skirt on the aft hoop then installed the glass on top. Taped the skirt in place and taped the canopy closed. Now that I think about it maybe I should have taped it about a 1/4 inch open so the skirt would have a tighter fit. Drilled and clecoed the skirt in place. Removed the tape and was supprised to see that the skirt fit perfectly around the fuselage. I was worried about this part of the build but it really hasn't been that bad. Now if I can trim it without breaking something I will be a happy camper.
