Placed the canopy frame back on the fuselage. Taped the glass on the frame to get an idea of how I was going to proceed. I got everything to match up pretty good and decided to work with one side at a time so I removed the aft and right side glass. I shimmed the frame up on the sliders so that the holes in the lower capture strip line up with the frame holes. Shimmed up the lower edge of the glass to get the same contour as the windshield then drilled the glass to 40 to match the holes in the capture strip. Drilled one hole in the forward hoop so the glass would maintain the contour. Did the same for the other side then removed the frame and clecoed the glass to the frame. Since the glass is 3/8 of an inch off of the hoop in places this will allow me to drill the holes in the right place. I plan on building up layers of foam to fill the gaps and use a spacer under the screws so that they will not draw down to far.
Mocked everything up then drilled a couple of holes
