Now that the booth is assembled, we're getting the parts ready.
We used DuPont parts cleaner prior to priming. That went really well.
Next the alodine. We sprayed Alodine on all of the VS parts and let it sit for 5 minutes. I was honestly disappointed in how well the Alodine worked. I was expecting some really gold parts, but it didn't really do too much to them. I believe it would have worked better if I had scuffed the surface.
Moving on, we applied DuPont Variprime 2-part primer to the parts. That went really well and looked great.
