Rejoice! The replacement of AN hardware is completed..
If you recall earlier I found all of the AN3 hardware over torqued. I have replaced all of the hardware that is accessible. Replaced the nylon lock nuts on those where I couldn't replace the bolts.
There are only a couple of bolts (outboard most of the wing center section carry through) that I couldn't access to replace or retorque.
I replaced with AN515-8R8 screws with NAS1801-08-8 structural machine screws on each of the F-1043D's (left and right) for accessibility. These screws allow for removal of the thse covers with a screw driver, 1/4" wrench, or 1/4" socket. That'll make life much easier when we're stuck at an airport making a repair and looking at a stripped Phillips head screw.
