I'm getting close to match drilling the skin so I thought I would go ahead and mark where the hole will be drilled that is close to the area shown in section F-F while the skin is on. I removed half the skin and cut the angles with a dremel and cut-off wheel. I verified that I had clearence from HS-00005 by clecoing it back to the spar. This angle is cut as part of the service bulletin for the older empennage kits that developed a crack in the spar. The removal of the flange is to help decompress any stress between the rib flange and spar flange/Skin which could cause a crack.
