This afternoon I attached HS-00005 & SH-00006. The holes to be drilled make this section a little tricky. You have to read the instructions closely as to not make a mistake. I am still a little confused as to what the final hole size should be where HS-00005 & 6 join the spar. The directions state to drill # 40 but the plans show an AD-4 rivet. I noticed this after drilling #40. It would have been nice to know this before drilling. I would have drilled to account for the larger hole and edge distance. I think I will call vans to make sure on rivet size.
Called Van's and they verified I need to match drill #30 the HS-00005 & 6. I also sent them a photo and they said the edge distance in this area is expected to be close and that mine looks good.
