After talking to BDH about the TCU's intervention temperature of 88*c, when the TCU starts to open the waste gate to control air box temperature, therefore power reduction, I decided to install an airbox temperature sensor. I reconfigured the G3X to display airbox temp. and have ordered a temperature sensor which should arrive in the next couple of days. It's probably very rare when the intervention would occur, however having alerts and warnings when intervention may occur will be very handy. ( very hot day, long taxi time, down wind holding on taxiway for extended time, limiting take-off or a combination ).
