Installed the avionic to test components prior to securing all the wiring. Installed the VHF antenna to test the GTR200 radio, after listening to Sydney Approach radar for five minutes, finally I heard a transmission, so the radio works OK. Not too bad for on the ground in the build shed, I could hear both the aircraft and controller, 4 by 5. I pushed the aircraft outside the build shed and the GPS picked up many satellites very quickly, so that also works OK.
