Brief Description: Debur, prime and rivet bottom of stab skin
Deburred and primed the lower stab skin and riveted it in place. Remember not to put the last rivets in the skin on the front and rear spar or you will have to drill them out to place the end rib in. Manual is not clear on this. Oh well, I got my first (of many I am sure) try and removing rivets.
I put in place the 2 x 4 that the stab rests on to pull in place the skin on the top of the stab. Note the 2 x 4 is cut to allow the front stab attachment points to clear between them. In the manual they show the support in front of the attachment points, but I found this unstable to work with and also likely to create a bump in the skin when it is pulled down with the cargo straps.
