Brief Description: Primed and assembled the flaps. Installed the err
I got up this morning and primed the flap parts. I then had to finalize how I was going to mount the repair strip behind the skin flange that corrects the two holes mis-drilled on the one hingeline. I decided that the best way to mount the strip was to pull out my tools from my RV project and use counter-sunk 1/8" solid rivets. I think this is an elegant solution for a stupid mistake.
Everything else went smoothly, and the flaps are riveted except for the few holes left open for pre-close inspection.
Edges primed
Fix for the mis-drilled hinge holes. Two solid countersunk rivets hold the strip in place
