I drilled, assembled, disassembled and deburred the flaps. Everything went well until I was drilling the hinge onto one of the flaps. It started to creep up off of the 1/8" spacer. I caught it after only two holes and was able to redrill the two holes but needed to come up with a fix for the skin to ensure proper strength during riveting. Fortunately the hinge was not mis-drilled. I decided the best way to fix this was to put a .025 strip of aluminum between the space of the two ribs where the mis-drilling occured on the two holes. I will have to counter-sink and flush rivet the part in place after it is primed. More on this tomorrow.

Hinges drilled
Crap and the fix! The hinge was not mis-drilled just two holes in the skin
