Today I took a day off work to take advantage of very good painting weather since I'm painting out doors. Took over 5 hrs to mask off the checkerboard pattern on the cowl, but I think it'll look good when painted. I also masked the spinner - it'll be half white, half black. I used a laser level to assist, but due to the compound curves it's not an exact science so I free handed some of the lines to make it more pleasing to the eye. I used 8" squares that worked out very good overall.
