In looking at my mixture arm it is mounted in the downward position vs. the upward position shown in the mixture control plans. I loosened the nut the hold it in position not disturbing stops that are pinned to the shaft and moved it to top side to match the drawings. Then I installed the bracket and idler per the plans. In testing the movement of the system it became obvious that the arm was going to hit the B&C starter motor - not good. I then looked at alternate routing, but I'm not too comfortable with that approach unless I have no choice. I'm going to check with the vendors to see if I can get a mixture arm that is more offset (mine is approx offset 1") and that would allow me to clear the motor.
