Happy New Year! I have been out of town on vacation for the holidays so this is the first update in over a week. I went to FL and as part of that got to spend half a day with my buddy Medford Bragg at Spruce Creek. Got to go out in his Rocket - too cool!!!
Anyway, back to building. Cold start this morning, literally, with temps around 15F. I managed to drill the grommets holes in the left horizontal stab (HS) end rib and aft deck for the tail light. Installed a nutplate in the top flange of the HS spar to mount a phenolic or teflon block to hold the ELT antenna still under the empennage failing (i'm trying to think ahead). Routed the conduit through the left HS end rib. I then mounted and torqued all of the vertical stab bolts.
