The flap actuator mounts on top of the floor board as well as the rear seat control column weldment. There isn't much in there other than some wires, smoke oil line and the static line. The plans call for the floor to be riveted into place and drilled out if access is needed. I put in 87 nutplates previously to allow them to come on and off. Glad I did. I installed the rear floor boards temporarily to make sure the flap rods don't touch the floor, if so I'll remove and trim away the extra material around the existing holes. Next step is to hang and rig the flaps.
