Brief Description: Canopy cleaning and pinstriping
Cleaned all the old tape residue off the canopy with mineral spirits - not a fun job!
I then put the canopy back on and taped off the windshield and canopy for a 1/8 bead of black silicon that will seal the fiberglass to plexiglass junction - turned out good.
Then I started the pinstripping process. Unfortunately it didn't turn as a well as I planned so I may take it off and paint it down the road. The pinstripe doesn't like going around corners and it just overall doesn't look as good as a painted stripe. I left out the stripe that goes over the tail of the canopy skirt and will just go with it as is - for now, it flies.
