-With the flaps in neutral I could install the flap fairing per the plans. -First needed to trim the aft root fairing to allow the flap fairing to fit underneath. -Some hand bending as the plans stated and I could tape it in place and start drilling the #40 holes (it's riveted later). -The left one turned out great. The right one needs alittle more tweaking at the tailend - nothing big. -Drilled the wing root fairing out to #19 per the plans. -Removed the fairings for trimming (fwd root) and edge/hole deburring and priming (inside).
Still need to trim the flap skin underneath and the fwd root fairings.
Starts out alittle abstract- pay attention to the drawings!!
