-I decided to deviate from the VAF article on this subject by cutting my dowels into segments so as not to disturb the natural curves of the wingtip. Also, I don't plan to put a fillet of micro around the base of the dowels as I see this just adding weight and I'm only using the fiberglass as a stiffner, nut as a structure that can't have any open spaces underneath it.
-Sanded the area where the fiberglass will be bonding to the wingtip. -Cut the dowels and taped them into place so I could take some 5min epoxy and glue them down in preparation for fiberglassing. Cut 3" strips of glass, but ran out of time before I could mix resin.
