I'm in the spin cycle phase of the cowling where you are instructed to put resin on the fiberglass to fill the millions of pin holes from the prepreg and then sand it off, repeat, repeat, repeat. This is the second iteration so far. I epoxy'd the upper cowl this morning and sanded the lower cowl and then epoxy'd it. I tinted the epoxy with some black dye to help me in the sanding - I couldn't see the normal clear resin against the pin prepreg. We'll see how it works tomorrow when I hand sand both the upper and lower cowls - fun!
