Since I'm doing all glass work and I'm letting my cowling dry I turned to my wing tips, specifically the strobe/pos lens area. -Sanded some previously applied Superfil from weeks ago (see wing tips #8) and then did another touchup round of Superfil - hopefully the last. I also cut the holes for mounting my strobe/nav light unit to the left wing tip. That exposed the clay so I could start scraping it out - I know I should have used foam for this application, oh well no one said I was smart just tenacious...
