-Well the taping the aft edge didn't work too good. It was very hard to put the fairing on using the single slit in the underside and somehow the trailing edge didn't fit so good anymore. Back to the drawing board. I am considering going back to the trailing edge slit as the way to spread the fairing open to remove from the gear. I'm going to have to reglass the trailing edge so it fits up properly and the gaps are covered and then carefully cut a thin slit so it can be spread apart. This is turning into a major pain!
