Got up early and got some good building time in before I had to shift into 'honey do' mode. -Finished up the locating the filter, pump, and flow valve onto the mounting plate -Mounted these components and put them into position between the longerons -Then I hooked up the hoses to the tank and connected it to the filter inlet. -I trimmed the long line coming from the firewall and attached it to the outlet on the flow valve -Put the -8AN cap on the extra outlet on the tank -Fabricated the 3/8" aluminum line for the vent. Drilled a hole in the bottom of the fuselage and put in a rubber gromment. Then I installed the vent line with an -6 AN B nut on top of the tank. -Reinstalled the battery box, battery and associated wires. -Ran the pump positive wire from the smoke relay behind the instrument panel back to the pump. Grounded it locally.
This keeps everything aft so I can take advantage of moving the CG aft since I'm running the Hartzell
Here you can see the vent line.
Batt box installed -all of this will be covered up by the aft baggage shelfs/bulkheads
