Drove up to St. Clair, MI to pickup my engine. IO-360-A1A that came off a flying Pitts S1-S (owner is parting out his airplane to finance a new project-didn't have any luck selling it as a whole airplane). It's in great shape and has 220 SMOH. I got everything firewall forward so it has all the accessories!
Once I got it home, I took the engine mount, which required removal of the mags and wires and one fuel line.
Feels good to get it home. I wish I could hang it, but I need to wait until the wiring is done and top skin on the fwd fuselage goes on.
Light weight starter.
Slick mags and bendix fuel injection.
Pulling the right mag to in preparation for removing the pitts engine mount.
