-Installed the large cotter pins in the slide tube throught the 1/8" holes previously drilled (these will be where the spring hook. -Drilled the other hole in the delrin friction block by measuring and marking the hole location and then setting it into position and checking it with a mirror, came out good. I did go over sized alittle to keep the bearing from binding on the slide tube. -Countersunk the nutplate rivet holes in the support bracket and riveted the nutplates (2) into place. Had to drive them with the gun and bucking bar (no access). -Installed the connector plate to the end of the slide tub with the clevis and cotter pin. -Mounted the assembly in the airplane -Hooked the spings onto the slide tube. -Fitted the mounting plate on the left side cockpit wall. Started with locating the holes that coincide with the exisiting nutplates on the aft end and then drilled the 3 hole along the top. -Drilled the F860A armrest to accept nutplates and c/s and primed. -Driled the AN3-5A bolt for a #44 hole for the cable to anchor. (used the drill press after I used a center punch to locate the hole so the drill would start).
